We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Entry-Level Accounting & Payroll Clerk to join our team remotely. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin or build their career in accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative finance.

The Accounting & Payroll Clerk will assist with routine accounting and payroll-related tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and provide administrative support to the finance team. Training and guidance will be provided to help the successful candidate develop the skills needed to succeed in the role.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing and maintaining payroll records accurately and on schedule.
Enter and maintain accounting and financial data in company systems.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Review invoices, receipts, timesheets, and other financial documents for accuracy.
Maintain organized electronic records and documentation.
Assist with employee timekeeping and payroll-related inquiries.
Reconcile basic financial information and identify discrepancies.
Prepare routine reports, spreadsheets, and financial documentation.
Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality of payroll and financial information.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable learning new accounting, payroll, and business software.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
