• Detail-oriented CNC Machinist with 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Bridge Mills/Gantry Mills to machine large weldments, structural fabrications, and precision components. Proficient in blueprint interpretation, GD&T, CNC program editing, fixture setup, and machining oversized workpieces while consistently achieving tight tolerances and superior quality.

Core Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operations: CNC Bridge Mills, CNC Gantry Mills, Plano Mills, large-format machining centers.
• Programming & Setup: G-code/M-code editing, tooling selection, work offsets, fixture setup, speeds and feeds optimization, multi-axis machining.
• Measurement & Quality: Micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, depth gauges, laser alignment tools, blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation.
• Materials: Structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, large weldments, and fabricated components.

Nice to Have

• Set up and operate CNC Bridge Mills/Gantry Mills to machine large weldments, fabricated structures, tooling plates, and heavy castings to tolerances of 0.001".
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining process documentation for custom and production components.
• Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices while optimizing machining strategies for oversized workpieces.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, dial indicators, and laser alignment equipment.
• Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment safely to position and secure large workpieces, while editing CNC programs, adjusting offsets, troubleshooting machining issues, and performing preventive machine maintenance.
