We’re currently seeking a skilled and people-focused Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of our HR operations, with a special emphasis on recruiting, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll administration, and overall team engagement. What You’ll Do: * Lead all HR functions in accordance with DoubleTree by Hilton standards and applicable federal/state laws. * Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to support staffing, development, and culture goals. * Recruit, interview, and assist in selecting qualified candidates for open positions. * Administer new hire on-boarding, employee orientation, and training programs (compliance, safety, guest service, and anti-harassment). * Maintain compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and internal policies. * Address employee relations issues and manage investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions. * Support and coach managers on performance reviews, corrective action, and staff development. * Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations. * Manage timekeeping records and coordinate with third-party payroll providers when necessary. * Oversee benefits administration, employee leave, and workers' compensation processes. * Monitor workplace safety and serve on the hotel’s safety committee. * Maintain up-to-date personnel files, handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Prepare and manage the HR department budget. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: * 2–3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred * PHR or SPHR certification is a plus, but not required Skills & Competencies: * Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices * Experience processing payroll and managing payroll systems * Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) * Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required Physical Requirements: * Mostly sedentary work with occasional walking, stair climbing, and standing * Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds * Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed Why You’ll Love Working With Us: * Supportive and inclusive leadership team * Opportunity to make a direct impact on hotel culture and employee satisfaction * Competitive pay and benefits * Room to grow within Hilton’s world-renowned hospitality network Apply today and be part of a team where people, passion, and hospitality come together. This position pays $65,000-$72,000 annually based on experience.
