Job Description

Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support commercial strategy for HIV prevention products. The role involves project tracking, market research, marketing material development, and cross-functional coordination during a 10-12 week summer internship at the Foster City, California office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, and status updates across marketing workstreams for HIV Prevention priorities
• Conduct market and competitive research on long-acting PrEP landscape and synthesize into strategy documents
• Develop marketing materials including slide decks, one-pagers, and messaging for lenacapavir positioning
• Compile market learnings and research insights into clear takeaways for HIV Prevention planning
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs and Analytics teams on scheduling, shared materials, and launch follow-ups

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
• Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement
• Ability to commit 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August
• Willing to work on-site hybrid at Foster City location; relocation may be required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills in fast-paced environment preferred

Compensation: $19.00 - $55.00 hourly
