We are seeking Level I Radiography Assistants to support certified Level II Technicians in
performing radiographic inspections (RT). This entry-level role is ideal for individuals
beginning a career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), with a focus on learning radiographic
techniques, safety standards, and field operations.
• Entry-level candidates pursuing a career in NDT
• Interest in Radiographic Testing (RT) and field inspection work
• Ability to support X-ray truck operations and inspection activities
• Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments
• Assist Level II Technicians in performing RT inspections using X-ray equipment
• Support setup, operation, and breakdown of radiographic equipment
• Maintain controlled areas and assist with radiation safety procedures
• Handle tools, materials, and film/digital imaging equipment as directed
• Assist with basic documentation and data collection
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Travel to regional and national job sites as required
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper storage and transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong commitment to safety and willingness to learn radiation safety practices
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, standing, outdoor
conditions)
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Current or previous Radiation Safety (RAD Safety) training
• State Trainee Card or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments
• Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools and equipment
